Today on our 2011 Honda Fit, we're doing a test fit of the Thule ThruRide roof-mounted bike rack. That part number is TH535. Now, we already have our bike on the rack. We're first going to show you how we strap that down. we've got a regular action strap that you're going to see on most of your bike racks, then we have a bush in here just to protect your bike. Swagman Upright Roof Bike Racks Review - 2011 Honda Fit- Video

Today on our 2011 Honda Fit, we are going to be test fitting the Swagman Upright Roof Mounted Bike Rack part number S64720. We'll begin our test fit by placing our rack on top of the vehicle. We are going to be test fitting it today on our Thule Traverse, excuse me, our Thule Rack and Traverse Roof Rack System. We'll go ahead and grab a stool I can see what I'm doing. For the front, you are going to use two u bolts that are going to insert from the bottom and then you'll take your wing knobs which are provided and you'll screw them on top. Go ahead and get them started and now we can tighten them down evenly on each side. more

Rhino Rack MountainTrail Roof Bike Racks Review - 2011 Honda Fit- Video

Today on our 2011 Honda Fit we're going to be test fitting the Rhino Rack Mountain Trail roof-mounted bike rack, part number RBC035. We'll begin our test fit by placing the rack on top of the vehicle. We'll be doing our test fit today on the Thule Rapid Traverse roof rack system. We'll start by tucking the straps here underneath our load bar. I'm going to grab my stool so I can see a little better. With that done we'll remove the cover here, tuck the straps into the right position, and then we can begin to tighten down our Allen wrench here. more

Kuat TRIO Roof Bike Racks Review - 2011 Honda Fit- Video

Today on our 2011 Honda Fit, we are going to be test fitting the Kuat Trio Roof Mounted Bike Rack part number TR02. We'll begin our test fit by placing our rack on top of the vehicle. We are going to be test fitting this today on the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System. I'm going to go ahead and grab a stool, you may want to have one nearby, that way I can see what I'm doing. This rack comes with two u bolts that you are going to be using on the front for your hardware as well as four cylinder nuts. What we'll do, is we'll take our cylinder nuts and as you can see there is a hex end and a threaded portion, you want to make sure the hex end goes up, go ahead and line the holes up here for the u bolts and start my cylinder nut and we'll do the same on this side. It's important with this u bolt you want to try and the cylinder nuts you want to try to make sure you get them tighten down evenly. more

Today on our 2011 Honda Fit we're going to be test fitting the Thule Paceline Roof mounted Bike Rack part number TH527. We begin our test fit by placing the rack on top of the vehicle. We're going to be doing our test fit today on top of the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack system. So, we'll go ahead and line this up here for our front mounting point. Now what we'll do is we'll open the front part here, the nose of it and then we'll also pull the lever here which will drop our t-bolt 00:35. We'll then place the bolt underneath the groove on our strap and try to cam 00:42 it over. more

Today, on our 2011 Honda Fit, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Big Mouth Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part number TH599XTR. We'll begin our test fit by placing our rack onto our roof rack. We went ahead and pre-installed the Thule Traverse Roof Rack System on our Fit, that way we had something to test fit this on today. We want the T screw on one side and the bracket on the other. Go ahead and position this. You want the bracket pulled down out of the bottom of the platform. more

Today on our 2011 Honda Fit, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Sprint Roof-Mounted Bike Rack, part number TH528. We'll begin our test fit by placing the rack on top of our vehicle. We went ahead and we're testing fitting this today on the Thule Wrap and Traverse Roof Rack System. What we'll do, we'll start here in front. We'll go ahead and bring the T of the strap and hook it over the hook, and then the tightening device is here in the back. We'll twist this to tighten it down. It's easiest to have it straight out first, when you start twisting it. more

Today on our 2012 Honda Fit we'll be test fitting the Swagman Upright Roof-Mounted Bike Rack, part number S64720. With the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing our bike rack directly onto our load bars. Here at the front we'll bring the U-bolt around the underside of our load bar, fitting it up back through our front platform. We'll secure it by tightening down 2 wing nuts. We'll repeat this process for the other side at the front platform. Here at the rear we'll take our U-bolt, drop it through the top of our bike rack, making sure that it goes around our rear load bar. more

SportRack Frame Mount Roof Mounted Bike Rack Review - 2012 Honda Fit- Video

Today on our 2012 Honda Fit, we'll be test fitting the Sportrack roof-mounted bike rack, part number SR4611. With the Thule Rapid Traverse roof-rack system on our vehicle we'll begin our test fit by placing our bike rack directly onto our load bars. Here at the front platform we'll bring our U-bolt from the underside of our load bar and fit it back up through our front platform. We'll secure it by tightening down the two wingnuts. We'll then repeat this process for the other side of our front platform. With the front of our bike rack secured we'll move to the rear and place our fitted bracket between our bike rack and our rear load bar. We'll drop our bolts through the top of the bike rack and we'll also fit them through the rubber-coated metal bracket that goes around the underside of our load bar. We'll secure it in place by tightening down two wingnuts. We'll undo each wheel strap and make sure our frame jaws are open. We'll grab our bike and place it onto our bike rack, securing it first with the frame jaw placing it around the lower part of our frame and closing the lever to finish the securing process. Then we'll move to each wheel and tighten with the wheel straps. With our bike all loaded up we're ready to go. That completes today's test fit of the Sportrack roof-mounted bike rack, part number SR4611 on our 2012 Honda Fit. more

Kuat TRIO Roof Bike Rack Review - 2012 Honda Fit- Video

Today on our 2012 Honda Fit we'll be test fitting the Kuat Trio roof-mounted bike rack, part number RU01. With the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the Trio directly onto our load bars. Here at the front we'll bring our U bolt around the underside of our front load bar and fit it back up through our carrier. Then we'll secure it by installing two cylinder nuts. We'll do this for the other side of the bike rack as well. Then we can take the included tool and tighten down all four cylinder nuts until we have the front of our bike rack secured to the front bar. Here at the rear we'll install our two bolts, sliding them up until we have one on each side of our rearload bar. more

RockyMounts TieRod Roof Bike Rack Review - 2012 Honda Fit- Video

Today on our 2012 Honda Fit, were going to be test fitting the RockyMounts Tie-Rod roof-mounted bike carrier, part number RKY1014. To fit the bike carrier to our roof rack, well set it up on top of the load bars. Well fit the straps at the front of the bike rack around the front load bar, re-secure them to the head of the bike rack and then use an Allen wrench to tighten them down. Once weve done that, we can move to the back, use the clamp and wing nuts at the back of the bike rack to secure it around the rear load bar. Once both the front and rear of the bike rack are tightened down, we can prepare to load a bike. Well undo the skewer at the front of the bike rack and make sure its open. more

Swagman Fork Down Roof Bike Rack Review - 2012 Honda Fit- Video

Today on our 2012 Honda Fit, were going to test fit the with Swagman ForkDown roof-mounted bike carrier, part number S64710. To fit the carrier up on top of our roof rack, well lay it and place on top of the crossbars. Well take our U-bolts at the front of the carrier, feed them up from the bottom of the crossbar and secure them with the wing nuts. Then at the back of the carrier, well take our U-bolt, feed it down through the top and use a clamp to secure it from the underside, again, using two wing nuts. Once weve done that, were ready to load a bike. Well pick up our bike, place the wheel on the wheel tray and set the front fork down into the skewer. more
